Anne and Graham Henderson have been running this hotel and pub for over 30 years, so we could desribe it as being fairly well established. Certainly the locals in the area and regular visitors to the Borders see it as an instituition. The distinctive white painted building sits firmly in the Market Square and the L-shaped bar, walls adorned with Scottish hunting and shooting scenes, attracts a lively collection of patrons. Graham or son Nick are usually on hand to talk about the changing selection of hand pumped beers or the 100+ malts available."
