We are delighted to promote a brand-new guided walking trail for Melrose, The Melrose Town Walk will take place every Friday until October.
Join one of the local expert guides from Trimontium Trust on their new guided Melrose Town Walk. Starting in the gardens at Abbey House, opposite Melrose Abbey, the guided walk takes in all aspects of Melrose history as you walk around the town on this new, 2 hour trail.
From the Abbey to the Market Square, from river crossings to The Greenyards and everything in-between, including the building where the allied generals gathered for a pre-D-Day meeting.
We suggest you bring a drink (and maybe a snack), wear footwear suitable for paths, and dress for the weather!

Drop-ins are accepted on the day if space is available.
As we will be outside masks are not necessary but please endeavour to socially distance from other walkers and guides.
Meet at 12.45pm for a 1pm departure, return approx. 3pm

£5 per adult walker – children & dogs free!
